that's the title of the movie i've just watched... -sigh- it's a great movie.. whew! it made me cry many times... and whoa... whoa... whoa... one man.. changed the nation... because of his intense love for his children... he did everything to get his children back... and that's because his motivation was love.. and so, all the children in Ireland will go back to their parents...

whow.. one person... one person changed the destiny of many..
one person changed a nation...
he just fought for what he's heart is crying out..
he just fought for his kids..
he fought for his rights..
and wow...
even though he knew he'll be facing "goliath" he wasn't threatened.. he knew david beat him...
wow..

wow..
just because of love..

are you willing to fight for your rights because of love..?
are you willing to continue after the fall...? well, when they brought the case to the high court, they didn't won...
but they didn't lose hope... [even though they were hopeless.. one line there said, "I've seen hopeless people win battles" hope i got it right.. hehe]

and whow..
how much more if you're so much motivated by God's love...
what else can you NOT do..?
what else can you NOT endure..?
even though you don't know what the future might bring...
"if i lose, i'll be unemployable" said his lawyer...
"if you win, you're gonna be immortal.. you'll be chaning history! you'll be in history books!" said the retired lawyer, who became their consultant...

how's that..?
you'll be immortal..
not in its literal meaning..
you'll be with Christ for eternity if you fight for it... and you'll win.. surely...
God never loses a battle..
losing and failing [i think] is not in God's vocabulary.. =p

i was also touched by what Desmond Doyle [the lead role] said... he was bein' asked something like this, "our model is the holy family.. how can you raise your kids if you're only the one raising them..?" [his wife left him, she left with another guy..]
and then there was silence...
and then he broke it..
he said, [something like]
"there is... there is a way... the Holy Trinity can help you... [something like that].. the Holy Spirit will fill you with love... that's why i gave up drinking because i want to be filled with love..."
he even mentioned the verse, "three things remain.. faith, hope and love... and the greatest of these is love..."
