heart for missions

hmmm.. well three years ago [i think].. it's just that something's quite touching my heart when it comes to missions.. it's like i don't know if God's placing a little desire in my heart for missions.. hehehe
actually, deal namin ni Lord na aalis lang ako ng bansa [since i'm a nursing student and most of the people are expecting that i'll go abroad after i graduate...] kung sasabihin Niya na magmimission ako sa ibang bansa... =)

but lately.. it's like God has been teaching me lots of things about missions.. i'm reading this book entitled God's foot soldiers --a compilation of stories of filipino missionaries.. hooH! and wow!!! it's just that my heart's been stirred up even more! whow! hoooh LOrd...
it's like God is showing me what it's like to be a missionary... i've realized na ganun pala yun.. hehehe parang hmmm you'll go there.. tapos ayun... kala ko kasi dati, ang gagawin mo lang ay mag-share.. hahahaha! [my naivete] yun pala pwedeng like may work ka dun habang nagsshare ka... [though medyo alam ko na yun..] pwede din na magsstart ka ng something like magtuturo ka.. ganun... hehehehe parang ayun.. ngayon ko lang naabsorb.. heheheheheh dati kase gusto ko lang mag-mission... pero i've realized something... hehehehe.. what missions is all about.. it's about starting something out of nothing... just to see God moving and touching lives... =) ...ayun hehehe.. pero another revelation is that.. hindi ka lang naman tinatawag na missionary pag lumabas ka ng bansa eh.. even here, you can do missions.. here.. heheheheh

and it's been quite some time since God has been speaking to me of what to do sa caregroup sa windward.. hmmm... parang it's the start of my desire for missions.. hehehehehehe.. it's like going out [of the church] and sharing the Word.. sharing His goodness.. living with them.. getting to know them.. ushering them into God's most Holy presence... discipling them.. ganun.. hehehehe.. parang i just don't want our stay there na parang walang nangyayari.. ganun lang.. parang i want to be used by God to leave something in their lives din.. parang ganun.. hirap magexplain! hehehehehe... basta ganun. parang winning them for Christ's sake..! hooh! honestly, after Jrev sa araneta, it's a dream that God placed in my heart to conduct small groups sa mga subdivisions.. nung time nga lang na yun, di pa lumalabas ang mga youth. pero wow!!! grabe lang si Lord!! He's just fulfilling it!!! hoooh!!!!! ayun..

and another thing... whenever we have fellowships.. hmmm =)
it's like we're in a mission din...
lam mo yun.. parang ngayon, God has been imparting things to me.. deeper meaning of what fellowship really means.. and LOrd.. hooh! Lord.. in Your time... =) they will also realize that.. parang .. it's not enough to welcome the people during fellowships.. there must be something deeper.. hooh! LOrd.. i don't know how... i really don't know how.. but i know what to do.. hehe gets..?? well, You know me... i'm still hoooh Lord... my heart's crying out for something.. pero lam mo yun LOrd... You know my struggle pag dating sa area na to... medyo di pa ko nakakarecover.. hehehehe.. tired? dunno.. heheheheh parang lam Mo yun LOrd.. hoooh! ayun.. basta alam Mo na yun! =) thanks Dad!
but surely, it shall come to pass!!!

and my dream will come true...
my desire for a generation that's so close to God's heart will come to pass.. and that's our generation..!

and after that... =)
we can share Your love.. outside this country... if it's YOur will.. =)
training pa lang dito! hehehehe =)

Issues of the mom-heart

I've read somewhere that everyone's miserable. They're just good at hiding it. I have been trying to find out why this new season seems to be a burden to me. Don't get me wrong -- I enjoy motherhood and I love my little one but something seems to be blocking my view of experiencing it joyfully.  Callie's already 10 months and everything just dawned on me -- why I was struggling, why I can't see things the way it should be, why I felt ineffective and frustrated and depressed. I think I just had post-partum depression.  I just got back from my US business trip and I just bursted into tears a few days after while singing Jesus loves me -- as if I'm telling that to myself. I'm grateful that I have a husband who listens and understands and encourages me that I can do it! I just realized the root cause(s) of what's going on after that incident. I was too attached to Callie that I don't want her to leave my site when I'm with her. I

Maturity

I was reading a long-overdue-book and I bumped into this: I have been married for almost two years now and I suddenly reminisced my late teenage years... It was in those years when God made me realize that maturity doesn't come with age... I was younger then, when I understood this very excerpt from the book Let Me Be a Woman (funny how everything He taught me is already in this book had I not stopped reading it! Indeed His humor is amazing). I started reading this way back 2007 or 2008 only to continue it now and read this now. I stopped reading it way back then because I don't have plans of getting married yet... little did I know that He will make me understand this in His own personal way. And right now, I was like, "So Lord, You must be saying, 'I told you so..' right?" haha! ...  The key to meeting your better half starts with maturity. And maturity comes from God.   To those who are still searching for their better half, don't. Don&#

Thoughts

Exodus Moses brought Joseph's bones out of Egypt when God freed them. Joseph made his family swear under oath that when God pays them a visit, they have to carry his bones with them. Joseph mentioned that surely, God will take them to the land He promised Abraham, Isaac & Jacob. Maybe, Joseph's brothers tell this to their sons & daughters so even after x number of years, they are still reminded of Joseph's request. The Israelites know that the time will come when God will take them out of Egypt but maybe they just didn't believe so He needed Moses to perform the miracles, that they might know Him, trust Him and believe in Him. Sometimes, we know what God said and what God promised us... but when it's already in front of us, it's hard to determine that God is already moving. Why? Because we are comfortable with the misery that we are in to. It dulls our senses and makes us forget the promise of God. Be careful with where you are right now.
