for your worth is far above rubies.. .

Women were created to be valued.. . for their worth is far above rubies.. .

A capable, intelligent, and virtuous woman--who is he who can find her? She is far more precious than jewels and her value is far above rubies or pearls.

-Proverbs 31:10 | Amplified Bible

But nowadays, we seldom find women who value themselves far more than rubies.. . because they don't know their worth.. . That's one of the reasons why women do things to get other people's attention.. . expose their bodies to receive appreciation.. . remain in a relationship even though the other treats them indifferently.. . Women tend to do silly things for them to be valued.. . when in fact, she shouldn't.. . she just needs to realize that her value is far above rubies or pearls.

God created women with value. Unless she knows how much she's worth, she will not learn how to value herself. She needs to realize that she is not worthless.

If she knows and understands her value and worth, she will not give in easily to someone who offers her temporary relationship and who's not willing to sacrifice to win her heart.. . because she's worth it.

If she knows and understands her value and worth, she will not pity herself if she doesn't have someone by her side (yet).. .because she is worth it.. . she's worth the wait.

If she knows and understands her value and worth, she will not destroy her body and put it into waste.. . because it is precious in His sight.

If she knows and understands her value and worth, she will not allow herself to be emotionally troubled by the things of this world or by the way this world defines beauty.. . because she is priceless.

We will not learn to value ourselves unless we commune with the One who values us the most--God. Women are worth far above rubies.. . do not act like you can be bought because you are priceless. You are fearfully and wonderfully made! Others won't value you unless you value yourself.. . You are worth it.

Charm can be deceiving, and beauty fades away, but a woman who honors the LORD deserves to be praised.

-Proverbs 31:30 | English Standard Version

it's been like 3 or more weeks... since we passed our manuscript for our final defense... and the submission of the final copy [hard bound] is october 12 [which is next week...] and guess what... our schedule for final defense has been moved.. and moved.. and moved... and moved... the final defense is supposed to be today.. but yesterday, the secretary told my thesismates that the chairman of the panel [our beloved dean] is not available today... so she said, it would be on friday [but IT'S STILL NOT SURE....] and one professor joked at them saying, " octoberian na kayo.." whew.. [ tapos marami pang gagawin dun after the final defense.. =j -sigh- but i'm not worrying on those stuffs...] i don't believe that.. i believe that God's going to do something great.. but i don't know how.. i don't know when.. but one thing's for sure... He's never late... He's always on time.. -sigh- but sometimes.. honestly... i just don't know what to do....

Unexpected Provision

We were accompanied by two couples a while ago to Ongpin to buy our wedding ring... We only have 5k at hand but the ring's for 8k... Ate Joy covered for the amount that we lack... but later on, she said that we dont have to pay it back! Then Ate Helen also brought her wedding gown... I tried to put it on and surprisingly, it fits me well! I dont know what to say or think of... We were not raised to borrow from someone or ask for someone's help but God has His own way of providing for His children's needs... We may not expect it but He has His own way of hitting two birds with one stone--providing for your needs and teaching you some of His principles. I was just humbled by this experience... Indeed, He never forgets... His promise remains!
